The new issue of Pathfinder International is now available for August.

Inside this month, the leading military resettlement magazine looks at the impact of social media when applying for jobs with a superb article from Ian MacRae – a leading Industrial and Organisational Psychologist.

In addition to this the August issue also features advice from the British Bodyguard Association on how to receive the correct training in that sector, the focus on the NHS continues as the medical institution celebrates its 70th year and to compliment medical well being, leading Nutritional Therapist, Helen Perks, guides us on how to ease stress through what we eat.

Due to the success and great feedback from July’s issue, the focus on the Armed Forces Covenant continues with highlights on the success of ERS Silver Award winners in a special supplement inside the magazine. To compliment these features, Pathfinder also includes exclusive interviews with Peter Buffoni, Assistant Director for Defence Relationship Management and Professor Vince Connelly on the success of the Armed Forces Covenant and what needs to be achieved moving forward.

Pathfinder International editor, Mal Robinson said of the issue: “It has been another fantastic issue reflecting upon issues just more than careers, which we still have in abundance. I feel it is important to highlight the importance of the mental journey we all face in resettlement and look at the varied landscape for service leavers in highlighting the Covenant and what it means exactly to people leaving the forces and veterans in general. “

This month’s Last Word column also holds news of Pathfinder’s forthcoming Military Resettlement And Veterans Expo at St James’ Park in November.
