BFBS is joining forces with Smooth Radio for a special simulcast programme on Easter Sunday
The last two hours of BFBS’s dedicated message programme, ‘Access all Areas’ will be broadcast live on Smooth Radio, as well as on BFBS.
BFBS presenter Rachel Cochrane and Smooth Radio presenter, Simon Bates, will team up for the simulcast, with Rachel presenting her end of the show live from BFBS’s studios in Camp Bastion.
Simon Bates said: "BFBS hosted us when my producer, Seb Sears,and I broadcast for a week from Afghanistan in December, and were terrific hosts technically and professionally. They couldn’t have been more helpful, particularly under the stressful day-to-day conditions in which they work. So, we’re doubly delighted to be joining them for this simulcast on Easter Sunday.”
Family and friends of troops serving in Afghanistan, on board Royal Navy ships, and all around the Forces world will be able to hear messages from their loved ones.
