Find out about applying for a share of the annual £10 million Covenant Fund to support the armed forces community…

The Covenant Fund priorities for April 2018 to March 2019 include:

  • Armed Forces Covenant: local grants and digital development
  • Armistice and Armed Forces Communities: supporting local communities to consider the Armed Forces Covenant and its relevance today in the context of the World War 1 commemorations

Further priorities will be announced in the coming months.

Applications to the Local Grants and Digital Development programme are now open. Please read the background information and Guidance Notes before making your application. You can find these here.

When you are ready to apply, please use the online application form. Please note that applications can only be made via this online link.

The Covenant Fund moved to an independent trust on 1st April 2018. Information about new programmes and previous grants awarded will still feature on the MOD website but in the coming months you can find out more at www.covenantfund.org.uk

As this is an enduring fund, there will be plenty of opportunity to apply in the coming months and years if your project is not quite ready yet. If you are unsure whether your organisation or your project are likely to be funded, you can ask for guidance here enquiries@covenantfund.org.uk

Further information on the priorities, eligibility and application process can be found here.
