The Invictus Games has launched a new platform entitled “We Are Invictus” to help support Servicemen and women when the sporting tournament is not taking place, meaning veterans from around the globe can support one another every day of the year.

The official statement from the Invictus Games said: “When the #InvictusGames stop, we keep going. Take a look at how we’ve built a new platform “WeAreInvictus” for the international wounded, injured or sick armed forces community to stay connected, active, and to recover together.”

The Duke of Sussex, Patron of the Invictus Games Foundation, announced that the fifth Games will be hosted in The Hague, The Netherlands. Due to Coronavirus, these Games were postponed from 2020 to 2021, and will now be held from 29th May – 5th June 2021.

The Invictus Games The Hague 2020, presented by Jaguar Land Rover will bring together over 500 competitors from 20 nations to compete in a series of adaptive sports. Events will be held across the city over the course of a week, with further details to be announced later this year.
