The Armed Forces Continuous Attitude Survey is one of the main ways to gather information on the views and experiences of service personnel. The latest survey was distributed to a sample of 28,814 trained UK Regular Armed Forces personnel between September 2018 and February 2019 using both online and paper questionnaires.
Overall, 12,102 responses were received, representing a response rate of 42%. These were split across the services as follows:
47% – RAF
40% – Army
48% – Royal Marines
37% – Royal Navy
