Get set for a double bill of dance floor action as the BFBS Weekender broadcasts top tunes and interviews from one of the world’s biggest dance music festivals

BFBS Presenter, Neil Moore, will bring listeners six hours of live music from Nature One at the HeavensGate Arena on Friday 1st August and Saturday 2nd August from 9pm (UKT).

Neil said: “We’ve broadcast live from the event many times before and once again we’ll be able to share the sounds and experiences with the British Forces wherever they are based.

“Our audiences will hear the DJs performing live on the HeavensGate decks, and I’ll be chatting to them on air too!”

The annual Nature One festival is set in the grounds of the former Unites States Cold War missile silo site at Pydna in Southern Germany.

“It’s not every day you get to step back through time and sample a unique piece of military history alongside some of the worlds biggest DJs,” added Neil. “That’s basically what you do at Nature One – let’s face it 60,000 people can’t be wrong!”

On Friday 1st, Neil will be introducing an heady line up from renowned masters of the decks, including Groove Phenomenon, Extravagance SL, Fisherman & Hawkins, Fabio XB, finishing with Corti Organ from 2am.

Fans of the trance and dance scene can also hear the weekly BFBS Club Culture show on Saturday 2nd August from 6pm (UKT). BFBS Presenter Nick Steele is hosting the slot live from Northern Ireland, before handing back to Neil at Nature One.

Corti Organ will be first to get the club floors grooving from 9pm, followed by Chris Low, James Dymond, Ben Nicky and Maarten de Jong. German DJ Chris Bekker will be on the stage from 2am, taking Nature One well into the early hours of Sunday morning.
