Alabaré’s Homes for Veterans had the pleasure of welcoming MP for Portsmouth South Stephen Morgan to one of their Hampshire services…
Mr Morgan was able to spend the afternoon hearing the stories of service users and how Alabaré is helping them in their time of need upon leaving the Forces.
Alabaré’s service users also had the opportunity to pose questions to the Portsmouth MP and discuss what more can be done to help Veterans make a successful transition in to civilian life.
Stephen Morgan said: “It’s great to come and visit Alabaré and see first-hand the fantastic work they do in supporting those who have served our country.”
Mr Morgan visited Alabaré’s services in Gosport where they have worked in partnership with Greenwich House to provide a home with eight bed spaces for ex-Service personnel. The home has also benefitted from a grant of £36,500 from The Royal British Legion to carry out essential renovations.
