Join #TeamCombatStress and walk or run 10 miles this March to raise much needed funds to support former servicemen and women dealing with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder…

This March, Combat Stress is asking the Great British public to put their best foot forward to help meet the staggering 143% increase in demand over the last 10 years for their specialist mental health services.

March in March is a virtual 10 mile challenge. You can run, walk or jog the distance at any time during the month of March. Choose the location and pace that best suits you and help raise funds for veterans mental health.

A virtual event is one that can be completed at any location or time, meaning you do not have to physically turn up to a race start line. You could complete your virtual event in your lunch break, before work, after dropping the kids off for school, on a treadmill at the gym or you could walk it at the weekend. It doesn’t matter where or when you do it!

For almost a century, Combat Stress has helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict. On the phone and online. In the community and at their treatment centres.

The charity is on a mission to raise awareness that invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones. So when a veteran is having a tough time, they are there to help tackle the past and to help them take on the future.

So, put your best boot forward and enter here.
