Study Active is the latest big name education provider to announce that they have signed the “Armed Forces Covenant” thus pledging to acknowledge and understand those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces.

The Armed Forces Covenant supports service personnel, service leavers, veterans, and their families. The focus is to ensure that the armed forces community have the same access to government and commercial services as any other citizen. This support can be in a number of sectors including healthcare, careers advice or in Study Active’s case education.

It is the belief of the Covenant that such individuals and their families should be treated with fairness and respect. Any member organisation agrees to align to these values when engaging with the Armed Forces Community – something that Study Active is proud to be doing.

Study Active Managing Director said “We are delighted to sign the Armed Forces Covenant and show our commitment to the Armed Forces Community. As an ELCAS provider we engage regularly with serving personnel and those going through resettlement so it’s good that our commitment has been formalised in this way”

Study Active is an established provider of Personal Trainer qualifications who are approved to offer funding to eligible MoD Personnel through the ELCAS scheme. Signing the Covenant further strengthens these ties and shows the commitment that Study Active has to both existing and former serving personnel.
