The Future Accommodation Model (FAM) is the MOD’s latest housing project, currently in it’s infancy and ongoing trials.

Here the FAM team provide an update on the scheme.

What is happening at the FAM pilot sites? 

The FAM pilot is currently running until 31 March 2023 at three pilot sites:

HMNB Clyde, Aldershot Garrison and RAF Wittering.

If you are assigned to one of these locations, you can still benefit from the FAM offer.

Applications will continue to be accepted for those with a Report for Duty Date up until 31 March 2023.

You are eligible for FAM if ALL of the following apply to you: 

  1. you are a Regular or Full Time Reserve (Full Commitment) Service Person with 1 year or more of Service
  2. you are in or assigned to an eligible unit based at a pilot site (eligible UIN list is available on the Defence Intranet)
  3. you have 6 months or more left on your posting at that pilot site
  4. and you have a Report for Duty Date before the 31 March 2023
